Triple-layer expandable garden hoses are available in lengths up to 150 ft and combine a TPE or natural latex inner tube with a separating film and a polyester fabric cover. Under normal water pressure, the inner tube can extend to around 2.5 to 3 times its original length and recover after when water supply stops. They have an outer cover that protects against abrasion and limits excessive expansion, while the separating film reduces rubbing between the inner tube and fabric cover.
